I am trying to install gebo wiki on a debian system and I have
successfully tested tdbengine on it, so I can reach the test.prg
page and the other prg files that come with tdbengine.

My problem is that gebo wiki takes about 20 seconds to load.
My other problem is that gebo wiki will not save any pages. So, I
don't know what to do to get gebo wiki running properly.

Normally I would say, this comes from a missing write permission on the project files.
Normally a chmod 755 or a chown to the www user of your machine should help.
