- too long URsL led to an infinite link which reached to the bottom of the page. Fixed. (Thanks Selwyn)
gebo-1.2.1.tar.gz- due to a missing sub directory the minihttp server could not start before gebogebo had been running at least once on another web server before. Fixed.
- new switch CreateStaticIndex in the configuration now allows decisions made concerning the automatic index.html file creation (thanks for the tip to Malcolm)
- bug fix for the subscription list which before returned a blank page caused by an internal error (thanks to Malcolm)
gebo-1.2.0.tar.gz- included minihttp-server (see
http://www.minihttp.org for more). Now GeboGebo can be run easily by starting its own web server. Ideal for testing purposes.
- very long lines sometimes corrupted links at their end. fixed. (thanks to Ralf Siemers)
- bug fix in the renderer engine which misinterpreted none formatted img tags to external image locations (thanks to Ralf Siemers)
gebo-1.1.2b.tar.gz- new SendHello option once tells gebogebo.org about the new wiki installation
- image width and height parameters on {{img:}} now work again
- " and ' are now explicitely treaded as special chars which are converted to _ in page and file names
- button history in diff view now takes the user back to the pages history and not to the page itself anymore, as it did it before
- lines longer than 255 characters are no longer broken at position 255
- static page generation for default page as index.html in gebogebo root directory. now it is not necessary anymore to have a forwarding index page. Should help getting better page rankings in the big search engines.
- corrections in relative path generation to allow images and file on the frontpage, too
gebo-1.1.1.tar.gz- bug fix on file upload: no more error message no tricks on the attempt to upload a file
- page inclusion:
- page parts are counted for the original page only
- namespaces are recognized inside included pages and are correctly used for links
- bugs fixed: after successfully being logged in, it was impossible to view the login form, even not when following a gebo:login link
This is now possible again.
- implementation of a password recovery function for users. to be found on the gebo:login page
- it is possible to receive email notifications as admin, if a new user registers. so one can quickly react on accounts waiting for activation
- a new setting in the configuration has big effect on account registration procedure
if set, an administrative user first has to activate a new account, before this account can be used for login.
This way, a wiki owner can chose who should be allowed editing in his wiki and who not.
- handling of "minor changes" has been changed: any saving of a page leads to a new revision now.
MinorChanges just avoid sending notification emails and are marked by brackets encloseing the revision numbers in the history
This avoids that someone does malicious edits as "minor change" which then might be saved by someone doing a harmless change as "normal change".
- RSS feeds - new paramater "max=" specifies maximum number of returned items, default is 20
- bug fixed: in Opera browsers editing was practically impossible due to a much too small edit textarea for the page content. Thanks Christian
gebo-1.1.tar.gz- editing a page is now made even easier through simple dialog based formattings
- Smart-Link dialog helps finding pages matching a certain keyword when editing a page. So one can easily link to other pages without using trial-and-error methods.
- Keywords describing an uploaded image now appear as title and thus as hint when one moves the mouse on an image
- page inclusion: One page can include the content of other pages by a simple directive
